The quilting ladies at WCBC have been hard at work! We have completed many prayer quilts for community members with needs.... illness, births, travels, job changes, encouragement...Each of these quilts is uniquely designed, carefully assembled, and most importantly prayed over. As the ties are tied, prayers go up for the needs of the recipient.

Dave and Susan M family
Susie is Joyce's daughter. Dave and Susie live in Michigan with their children Lauren and Caleb.
Pray for stable employment for them, that they will not be discouraged while waiting for God's answer to their prayers.
Praise God that their needs are being met.
Pray for Joyce as she encourages them.
Dear Prayer Quilt Guild,
Thank you for the beautiful quilt. I have known about your ministry and today
really felt the support and strength from your prayers. We have been out of
full time work for over a year and so this was such a gift for us to have the tangible
reminder of those that are praying for us.

Mom,
Great tears of joy as I opened the prayer quilt today.
Please pass on my thanks to your group. With being on the receiving
end I was so overwhelmed with the caring of people. This has been a long
road and so many have come alongside us. This tangible stitching is one
that I will cherish forever and we can teach our kids about the support and
care of community. Plus, having Marian do the center hits close to my heart
as well.
My phone call with Mark went well. He gave me names and numbers of
people to call. Sioux Falls really must be doing well. The unemployment
there is very low. He actually said they need people like ourselves to
look at moving back - they need more workers in the state.
Very touched by your gift. Love, Susan

Darlene and Lyle P
Darlene and Lyle Pence are Linda Fawbush's parents.
They have been dealing with illness, a diagnosis of cancer for Darlene who has chosen to not pursue treatment, and diabetes and macular degeneration for Lyle. Due to age and need for additional care, they have moved to a nursing facility in Mitchell.
Pray for pain and symptom control, adjustment to a new home, and comfort from our Heavenly Father. Pray for Linda as she also faces these changes, and for Betty who supports Linda.
