Good morning ladies on another nice fall day. I love fall especially when the weather is so nice. God is good.
We were only 4 last night but we got lots of pinning, tying, and praying done.
867.-870. On Friday evening some of us prayed for my son Tom’s wife and sisters. Their Dad, Gordon, died suddenly of a heart attack and it was Tom’s wish that we pray and give them a quilt…wife, Velinda, and sisters Valerie, Dorie, & Dodie. |
Last night we prayed and did quilts for
871. Andy Weber who is in the hospital…very sick with covid |
872. Kim,( Susan’s cousin’s wife) and daughter Crystal…Susan’s cousin just died from cancer and their daughter died in a very serious car accident last year |
873. Steve, a friend of Ted Faszer, who is waiting for a double lung transplant…. Wonderfulness. Our first visitors in Phoenix! Ted and Marietta Faszer long time professor from Sioux Falls Seminary, winter here. Great to see them again, great to reminisce our overlapping years in SD , great to have a season now to walk with them, and they prayed for me and gave me a prayer quilt made specially for me by praying ladies from West Center Baptist Church in Madison South Dakota. I know what such a blanket embodies and so it will be with me in the hospital and recovery. |
875. the Materese Benefit…..which will be at the old armory from 11-2 on Sunday
This world is full of hurting people. We never seem to run out of people to pray for. May we also hold each other up in prayer.
Next quilting night is Oct. 12th. Thanks ladies for all the homework that you do.
CHOOSE JOY.
Love, Joyce
Worry won’t change anything, but prayer can change everything.
