501. Yankton Christian School 502. Tom F. 503. Clair A 504. Camilla 505. Rigoberto 9/11/18

Good morning ladies.  We had a small group last night but I cracked the whip and we got lots done.  We prayed for five:
501. for the Christian school in Yankton.

 502. for Tom Farrell who has been dealing with a very invasive infection.

503. for Clair Anderson, Bettys neighbor, who has liver cancer.

504. Camilla, Deloras cousin, who had some brain surgery last week and will be dealing with some treatments

505.for Rigoberto, from the Mexican restaurant, who has cancer and no insurance.

Continue to remember each of these individuals.
Our next quilt night is Sept. 25th.  We need a planning night for our open house deal at church on Oct. 21st so we will not be sewing but planning that night.  We will not meet until 7:00.  Im hoping that all of you can come that evening at this later time.  We need to get a current picture of our group to use on some kind of bulletin. ..so comb your hair and put on a nice top and come for a picture maybe around 7:30……Marci said to make this mandatory.  How about that.
If some of you would like to come earlier there are always quilts to pin, sew, and put ties in.but the most important is the planning and picture for that evening.
May our mission continue.  It is so important in life to give of ourselves to others.
God bless.
Love to all of you, Joyce

497. Mary 498. Payton 499. Taviahna ******500. Ann F. August 2018

Good morning ladies on a bright sunny fall like day.  We are at the end of summer again.  The days fly by.
Thank you ladies for taking time to come work on quilts and to pray for so many people that need our prayers.  Can you believe last night we reached the 500 mark so we are going to plan a party.  Karen is going to contact Pastor Justin to get a date lined up.  We are looking at a Sunday afternoon..thinking about doing an ice cream and pie social.
Last night the 500 quilt was for Ann Foland, Adam Folands mom,  who has a battle with liver cancer and now also a blood clot in one of her legs(Adam, Carleigh and girls joined us for prayer time)

..also quilts for Marcis friend Mary whose father is dying with cancer

..for Nikkis 13 yr old niece, Payton, who went through a 5 hour surgery at Mayo yesterday

and for Melissa Wrights 5 year old niece, Taviahna, who has suffered sexual abuse.  Continue to pray for each of these individuals.

Our next work night will be September 11th.  Mark this on your calendar.  Does anyone want to bring a treat?
Thank you so much.  Find joy in each day.  God has blessed us.

Love, Joyce
