April 27 2022. 964.Jennifer. 965.Melinda. 966.Ketia. 967.Brenner. 968.Cora&Noah

Good morning ladies.   Is it spring?  We will see…..whatever we know that God blesses us each day.

Last night I really cracked the whip…..there were only 5 of us and much to do.  We have given 22 quilts away just in the month of April so the racks are looking rather empty.

Last night we did quilts and prayed for

964.Jennifer Flemming…Madison’s teacher of the year…..

965.for Melinda, my grand daughter Lauren’s karate coach..dealing with breast cancer…

for 3 more college graduates:

966.Ketia

967.Brenner

968.Noah and Cora

Remember our motto it is not about the quilts but about the prayers so continue to pray.

We need to pick a Sat. morning in June to make the 12 table runners for Shan to give the ladies at a fall convention that she is planning.  If we get a good group we can get much done in a morning….sewers, pinners, cutters , ironers….we can use each one of you.

May 10th we will be doing quilts for the high school graduates.

Thank you and have a wonderful week.

Love, Joyce

Count your blessings

Name them one by one

And you will see all the lord has done.

Continue to uphold these special individuals in prayer.

The college graduates are coming at 5:30 on Sunday, April 24th.  If you can come to help tie and pray for these individuals it would be great.

We meet again on April 26th.  Thanks for your faithfulness…….for those that can come on quilt night and for the many who are doing work at home.  It is a great mission and we thank God for giving us time and monies for this work.

May we remember during this Holy week all that God has done for us……He came down as a fully human being and suffered as we suffer only He gave His all…..His life…..but Hallelujah he arose one Easter.

I just read the following in a book and thought I would share it with all of you:

Life is filled with overwhelming tragedy, but it’s also filled with incomparable beauty.

God doesn’t come to us only in the happy times.

He comes to us through our scars and wounds.
