July 13 2022 984.Evan. 985.Thomas Bulfer

Good morning ladies.  It is a beautiful morning in South Dakota.

Last night was another good night.  Thank you ladies for your faithfulness.  We prayed for

984. Evan…a friend of Marci and Nate’s who has been working at Valiant Living but now going to nurses training

985.Thomas B…. a young man who was badly injured in a swimming accident.

Pray for these young men…for Evan as he begins an intense year of learning and studying and for Thomas that his body may heal.

Our next work night is July 26th……put it on you calendar.

We miss those who did not join us…….may God continue to richly bless you each day.

Love, Joyce

Good morning on a breezy summer day.  Next week is July 4th….the middle of summer almost.  Enjoy each moment that you have.

982. David who broke his leg

983. for Russell who needs many prayers and much encouragement.

Also pray for JoAnn Lingbeck as she heals with a new knee.

Next quilting night is July 12th…..mark your calendars.

Encourage those you live with and meet each day.

This is from a writing by Corrie ten Boom:

“If you look at the world, you’ll be distressed.

If you look within you’ll be depressed.

But if you look at Christ you’ll be at REST.”

Health might start in the  body, but it extends way beyond the physical__it’s about your connections to the world and people around you and your ability to serve and give.

May 25 2022 975.Elijah 976. Deb

Good morning ladies on a cloudy rainy spring day…as we experience God’s blessings of nature as the trees and flowers all come to life.

We had a wonderful night last night.  We did quilts for

975.Elijah Olson, a graduate of high school who attends church……

976. Deb, Marci’s aunt….Marci’s uncle just died.

Thanks Marian for the treat of War Cake…….fits right in with the time.

Our next quilt night is June 14th.

We will be hosting an open house for Nate and Marci, for the adoption of their new family, at my home on June 12th from 2:30-5:00.  It will be very casual….just with dessert and drink.  Who can bring a dessert?  I will furnish plates, napkins, and drink.  Who can come around 2:15 to help dish dessert?

On June 18th at 9:30 we will be sewing 12 table runners for Shan Reed to give at a retreat.  Hope that many of you can come.  It is very simple and I think we can get much done in a morning.  We need sewers, cutters, ironers, and put togetherers.

How fortunate that we have each other.  God has been so good to us.

Love, Joyce

What’s wrong with being 62, 72, 82, or 92?  If God is good enough to give you those years, flaunt them.

Our next night together will be May 24th.  There are many things going on so we miss many of you.

Enjoy your week.

April 27 2022. 964.Jennifer. 965.Melinda. 966.Ketia. 967.Brenner. 968.Cora&Noah

Good morning ladies.   Is it spring?  We will see…..whatever we know that God blesses us each day.

Last night I really cracked the whip…..there were only 5 of us and much to do.  We have given 22 quilts away just in the month of April so the racks are looking rather empty.

Last night we did quilts and prayed for

964.Jennifer Flemming…Madison’s teacher of the year…..

965.for Melinda, my grand daughter Lauren’s karate coach..dealing with breast cancer…

for 3 more college graduates:

966.Ketia

967.Brenner

968.Noah and Cora

Remember our motto it is not about the quilts but about the prayers so continue to pray.

We need to pick a Sat. morning in June to make the 12 table runners for Shan to give the ladies at a fall convention that she is planning.  If we get a good group we can get much done in a morning….sewers, pinners, cutters , ironers….we can use each one of you.

May 10th we will be doing quilts for the high school graduates.

Thank you and have a wonderful week.

Love, Joyce

Count your blessings

Name them one by one

And you will see all the lord has done.
