 Thank you dear friends for all of your hard work last night but we can count it joy that we are able to continue to give of ourselves and fabric.

We did quilts for 

1093.Jason, a man in son Tom’s workforce……..Jason cared for is sister until she died of cancer….


1094. Mike, Ann’s husband, who had heart surgery in Nov….he is slowly progressing toward getting well…..


1095. Janice, who has been in the hospital for several days and now at home but not doing well…….


1096. the Batiste family….they just lost their 4 month old son…….


may we continue to pray for each of these individuals as they cope with each new day.

1097-1117.We packed up another 20 quilts for Valiant Living….we are half way there……we have now given 60 quilts to Valiant.  This is a big project but we will get there…..just keep cracking the whip.



Our next work night is April 11th.  Thanks to the many of you that do lots of homework.  It really keeps us going.

A good day to each one of you.

We started out slow last night ….just Karen and I but as time went out more joined in . …..by prayer time there were 8  of us.  We did not do quilts for Valiant Living but prayed for 5 other individuals….

1088.Karli. 1089.Kennedy. 1090.Kenzie who lost their Mom last week.


1091.Charlie, Maria’s husband, who is on dialysis



1092. my special cousin, Elaine, whose husband just passed away.


Pray for each other.  Marian has a type of flu.

Thanks Holly for the goodies which your brought for my birthday in Feb.  Thanks for freezers…..it was still very good.

Next meeting will be March 28th.  We will have enough for Valiant Living then.

Remember it is not about the quilts but about the prayers.,

 Good morning on a kind of nasty day.  Enjoy a day indoors.

Well dear friends we have been busy the last 3 Tuesday nights…..I’ll give you next week off.  We will meet again on March 14th.  There will be lots to do.  We will have another 20 quilts to get ready for Valiant Living so I will be cracking  the whip.

Last week we prayed for 

1082. Scott, a co-worker of Amy’s…Scott had a stroke…


1083. Barb, Sandy McElhatton’s niece……Barb passed away…pray for Sandy who is with her sister in California.  


Last night we did quilts for 

1084. Diane Plack who is doing kidney dialysis…


1085. RJ who works at the Company son Tom works for…..RJ lost his father who was his last surviving relative


1086. Brenda a neighbor of Amy’s who is having a difficult time after her father died….


1087. Bev another neighbor of Amy’s who is in the Madison Hospital fighting a bad infection.  



Continue to pray for Mike, Ann’s husband, as they continue to get him well again….for Mary’s Dad who had 2 stints put in this week….for Stephenie as she copes with another foster child……for Maria’s husband as he does dialysis.

 Good morning on a wintery windy day.

Thanks ladies for another good night of quilting.  We packed up another 20 quilts for Valiant Living

1077. the Murfield family…their little daughter is very sick….



1078. Kadyn an 18 year old boy in hospital being tested…

1079. Marissa….a young mother of 5 children who has been diagnosed with MS.   1080.Sandy who fell and broke her leg……

1081.Tallen dealing with addiction.  


There are so many hurting people .  May we continue to bring some joy into the lives of some of them.  Pray for each other that God may give us wisdom and the time to keep on going.

There are five Tuesdays in January so it will be three weeks when we meet again on Feb.14th.

Whoa!  we had a good night last night.  We did lots of work and praying.

We prayed for 

1049.Max and Kathy….their daughter committed suicide….


1050. Amelia, who lost both legs in a terrible car accident…


1051. the Kilpatrick family……mom and wife age 36 died of cancer leaving husband and two children 3 and 5….


1052. Merle who has cancer ..doing chemo now….


1053. Mason who broke his foot playing basketball…


1054. Doug who had bladder removed..dealing with cancer…


1055. Dann who broke his back in a fall.  



Continue to pray for each of these individuals and also for each one of us as we continue this mission.

Our next work night is January 24th.

 We gathered at Joyce’s for our Annual Christmas party.  We had a wonderful time with lots of food, laughter and friends.

We prayed for Tom’s friend Uta who is facing some family issues

  We also donated supplies to the Domestic Violence Organization in Madison.

 Last night was our last quilt work night of 2022 and it started out really slow but as the night progressed you ladies showed up and the goal of the night was met.  We had a rack of quilts to pin and a big pile to put ties in…….then we prayed for six… 

1042. Keith and Peggy Bundy mourning the loss of their son Louis….


1043. Addie, a five year old who has been sick with pneumonia and scarlet fever…


1044. Brad, a friend of my son Tom, dealing with the death of his mother…


1045. Rhonda (Joyce’s niece) & Eric mourning the loss of both Eric’s parents in the last couple months…..


1046. Dean (Sonya T. brother-in-law) who has had a stroke….

                            Mary Van Der Werf: “My sister came into town for Thanksgiving and she came with a                             special delivery for Dean. Ladies from her church in Madison, SD made him a quilt and prayed for him as they tied it. So thankful for those who care so much from afar and pray for us. BTW they made sure to incorporate orange into the quilt for Dean’s Reese’s cap.”




1047. Jim (Marian’s nieces’s husband) who will be having open heart surgery at Mayo in January.  


Continue to pray for Mike, Ann’s husband, as he heals from heart surgery.

God has blessed us so much with this ministry….so far in 2022 we have prayed and have given quilts to 141 individuals and couples.  With God’s blessing may we continue in 2023.  Remember it is not about the quilts or us but the prayers.

Dec. 10th at around 11 is our Christmas brunch.  Bring a special treat.  Remember to bring items that we can give to Domestic Violence.

Remember to thank God for our many blessings.
