 Good morning to all of you special friends on a very foggy smoky day.

Last night we gave and prayed for lots of people:

               1348.Bill & Suzanne (cousins of Maria’s husband) who both have cancer

                                   

1349.Kenzie who is dealing with a burned foot and ankle  

1350.Dick O. who suffered a stroke

1351.Todd K. whose brother committed suicide…1352.and for the wife, Kelly

1353. Hallie Grace, TD & Sara’s new baby

1354.Kaci ( Deanna’s cousin) dealing with cancer 

1355&1356.Amelia & Xavier, the two youngsters that Matt and Kelsey are fostering 

                                
It was a great night.  How special to have Deanna, Ella, and Cooper join us.

We will not have quilting in August…..mark your calendars for September 10^th for our next work night.  That sounds like a long ways off but I think it will work.

Remember to pray for one another and pray that our mission may remain a mission.

God is good all the time even in the times when it seems like life  is hard.

 Good morning dear friends.

I did crack the whip.  We got lots of work done.

We got quilts ready for the team to take to Chain of Love in Brazil

1336-1341. house parents Denis & Jacqueline, Marco & Fabi, Antonio & Dione, Gelson & Luzia, Anderson & Cleo….and for the girl that Joyce helps support,

1342.The Leighton family who just lost their dear wife and mother

1343. Donna (from Minneapolis), Joyce’s sister-in-law, dealing with medical problems

1344&1345. Suzanne & Robbie (from SC), son Tom’s leader’s parents……Susanne dealing with dementia and Robbie the full time care giver

1346. Harry (from NY), Tom’s bosses’ dad, who suffered a severe stroke

1347.Zach (from GA), good friend of Tom’s…whose mother fell down some stairs and died

Altogether we gave 12 quilts.  Don’t forget to pray for these people and for each other.  We all need love and prayers.

Thank you Ann for the yummy cookies.

Next work night is July 23^rd.

Always remember that each step is important so that makes each one of you important….isn’t it wonderful to be able to give a smile to someone who is suffering or in need.

Good morning dear ladies and girls.  We had another great night on Tuesday.  We enjoyed having Shan, Deanna, Ella, & Copper  with us.

We prayed and did quilts for

1332. Madi, a single parent of 2 with many needs..a new Christian…friends of my Grandson & wife in Dallas, Texas 

1333. Karen M…who is dealing with cancer  

1334.  Noriko, a Japanese friend of Shan 

1335.  Susan, who has lost her husband. (Aunt of Lauren S.)

 

  These are special people with many needs.  Continue to pray for them.  Pray for each other.  We have many needs right within our special group.

Thank you Holly and Joanna for the treats.

I am very emotional about our group right now.  I thank God each day for you.  Remember each one of you is special and has a special place in my heart.  We have people from age 9 to 98 working with the quilts.  Isn,t that amazing.

We had a great night last night ……. ending up with 9 ladies and 4 girls.

We gave quilts and prayed for 

1324.Dennis P. who is dealing with Parkinson’s

1325.Doug T. with medical problems

1326.Brandi a co-worker with Holly who has had major surgery 

1327.Blake & Alli dealing with fertlility problems

1328.Renae who lived in Joyce’s apartment…pray for a new job and peace as she moved back to Pierre.

Our next work night is June 25^th……and the Lord willing Shan Reed and Deanna Wolfe will join us.

 Good morning everyone.  We had a great night last night.  We always miss those who are unable to join us.

We did quilts for 

1314.Laney, a 2 month old baby who is in the hospital with RSV and pneumonia…a friend of Marci’s

1315.Maria’s friend Donna who is going through some hard times with her Mom in hospice.

Several of the high school seniors and their moms were able to come.  The seniors we did quilts for are

1323. Vianca... a foreign exchange student from Bolivia living with Lauren Schroeder.

We will miss Deanna, Ella, and Cooper.  They will be moving to Emery and working at the Baptist Church.  May God be with you and bless you in this new chapter of your life.

Thank you Marian, Deanna, and Ella for our good treats last night.

We will not be meeting on May 28th.  I will be gone a few days so will not have quilts ready.  Our next work night is June 11th and then on June 25th Shan Reed will be joining us.

 Thanks ladies and  girls for another good productive night.  Many quilts were pinned, tied and prayed for.

On April 14th we gave quilts to the college seniors that came to their life group.  Susan, Karen, Marci, and I helped tie and prayed for Anna, Briannah, Ryan, Joe, and Nicholas.  

On April 17th Sandy M. came out to pick a quilt for her cousin, 

1307.Jean, who just finished chemo.   Sandy and I tied the quilt and prayed for Jean.

Last night we prayed for and did quilts for 

1308.Oksana, a friend of Kaysi W, who needs encouragement

1309. Kennedy, great niece of Theresa W, who will be having a hysterectomy

1310. Amy, Carol S. daughter-in-law who was in an accident

1311. Les, Holly’s Dad, who is retiring from the lumber yard business 

1312.Hunter & Nikki, Holly’s brother, as they grow in faith and care for their baby twin girls

1313. Sharon, an acquaintance of Joyce’s family, who works with countless mission trips to Cuba.

                                        

Our next work night will be May 14th.  This will be high school senior night.  Would a couple of you like to bring cookies or bars?  There will be more people that night.  This will also be the last night that Deanna, Ella, and Copper will be with us.  Say special prayers for them  as they move to Emery at the end of the school year.
