Laura is a friend of the Slaughters from Brandon.  She worked for FedEx and made many deliveries to their business over the years.  Laura has been diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and is now considering Hospice care.  Pray for peace, joy and strength for her and her family as they face the days ahead.

Farewell to Kyle and Michelle

Kyle and Michelle are moving to Council Bluffs Iowa.  They have been a part of our church family for many years.  Pray for them as they transition to a new home, new job, new church and new friends.  Pray for them as missionaries to the Council Bluffs area as they help plant a new church there and Build Healthy Disciples. 

Jim and Mary Ann H

We made this quilt for Jim Hyland and his wife Mary Ann.
He has battled throat cancer and a stroke and now resides at
Bethel Nursing Home in  Madison.

Pray for Jim's health, for strength and endurance. 

Pray for Mary Ann and their family as they support and love Jim.

Jenna is Emmeline Elliot's college friend who lives in Mankato.
She has been facing many serious health concerns.
Pray for healing, for relief of pain.  Pray for successful back surgery.
Also pray for her plans to go back to school.

Don and Darlene S

Don is Dodi Young's Dad.  He has had numerous health concerns and hospitalizations. 
Pray for his healing and health. 
Pray for his caregiver/wife Darlene and the whole family for strength and patience.
Pray for peace for the entire family as they care for Don.

The quilt arrived!  I picked it up on Sunday morning on my way to church!  Hitomi really liked it.  She wasn't sure about opening it in front of us though, since that is rude in Japan.  :)  We told her please do because we wanted a picture to send you! :)  Thank you!!!!

Prayer Requets for Sakamotos:
*Praise God for the way He worked in this couples'life to bring them to church and salvation together, as a couple
*Pray for them as they continue to prepare for baptism, which will be held in October
*Pray for their witness to their sons, that they will see and experience God's love in and through their parents
*Pray for Mr.and Mrs. Sakamoto as they interact with friends, that Jesus' light will shine brightly in them.
*Pray that they will continue to grow in their faith!
