Good morning ladies.
It is a very dark day outside so we need to make our light shine.
I cracked the whip and much got done. We prayed for six quilts….
886. for Andrea Morenz whose 23 year old son Kyle died of covid in late Oct…
887. for the Lee family of Colman who were nominated for Angels in Adoption…they adopted three children from Haiti in 2010…..
888. for Darla VanRosendale who is CEO of Dow Rummel in Sioux Falls,,,,,,Darla was given a big award for her leadership…….
889. for Christy a single parent of four children who needs prayers and support…
890. for Brian & Meggan McFadden, pastor at Milbank saying goodbye to foster child Chloe….
891.for Adam & Peggy Lauck of Salem whose dear daughter Addisyn…11 years old died Oct. 29th.
There were many prayers of sadness but also prayers of thanksgiving and joy.
We also gave quilts to
892. Mary and Gerald Leary
Our next work night will be Nov. 23rd. It is right before Thanksgiving but hope that some of you can come. It is our last work night in 2021. The year has flown by. Do you know ladies that we have made 400 quilts in the last three years. The covid did not shut us down. Thanks for your faithfulness. God is good.
We are going to do something different this year for our Christmas party. We are going to have a potluck brunch (11:00) on Saturday, Dec. 11th. Bring what ever. It always works out. No Joyce gifts. We are going to bring items for Domestic Violence. There is a list for things that they need so when I get it I will send it out.
The apple bars were delicious Mary.
Make sunshine.
Love, Joyce
