 Thanks ladies for your hard work.  Last night we got everything done that needed to get caught up on.  Now we need to get back to the 40 we have left to do for Valiant Living.

We prayed for 5  quilts…

1185.Caleb (the Sperl Family) a co-worker of Holly’s whose brother died out by the boundary waters 

3 for what my son Tom calls magic quilts for some of his co-workers and families…

Many of our own quilters need prayers…..for Amy as she is with her Mom in Denver dealing with cancer, for Marian who just had some surgery, for Betty as she deals with some dizziness, for Ann and Mike as they recover from covid, for Maria’s husband.

Ou next work night is three weeks away….Sept. 12^th.   There will be 10 quilts to have the binding sewed so hope that some of you will have time to do some hand sewing.

 

Shan Reed will be joining us on Sept. 12^th.  Her birthday is Sept. 7^th so I told her I would make a birthday cake.  We will have a birthday party.

 Wow! it was another good night …..very busy.We gave nine quilts so we just need to keep sewing and pinning but most of all praying.  We prayed for the Materese family with their new family..they joined us as we prayed for them…

 Ladies we had another good night and we were done with our work right at 7:00.

We did quilts for

1172. Mike who had a bike accident then found two closed arteries…..

1173 Doc B. Who has been in the hospital and now at home healing….

1174. Emily, a co-worker of son Tom in Minneapolis, who is fighting cancer.  

Pray for each one of these special people and for those who could not join us last night.

We continue to work on the last 40 quilts for Valiant Living.

Our next work night is August 8^th.  The summer is quickly going.

 Good morning dear friends….another nice rain shower.  God is good.

We missed many of you last night but got much done.

We did quilts for 

1169.Matt and Kelsey Stone…praying for them to adjust back to Madison and Matt on the WCB team….

1170. Hollis, Pam Rowland’s little grandson, who was attacked by a rooster…hurt his cornea…

1171. the Reed family who lost their home and possessions in a fire in Madison. 

Continue to remember these individuals in prayer:

Pray for Holly and family, who left on their mission trip to Chain of Love in Brazil, this morning….for Mary and her siblings as they prepare to move Mary’s parents to the Bethel Community…..for Amy as she travels to Denver to give her Mom encouragement and help…….for Deanna as she travels home from Michigan.

Thanks Maria for the beautiful wood plaque you gave for our sewing room.

 Good morning dear friends on a bright sunny summer day.

We had another great night last night.  We missed those who could not come but welcomed two new special ladies…Amanda Belisario and Lily Sunde.

We prayed for quilts for

 Cameryn, a little 4 year old who is very sick and in the hospital 

Gary and Judy…Gary has had a severe stroke and Judy is caring for him in their home.

We had good treats…cookies from Holly and cherries from Karen.  Thank you ladies.

Our next work night is  July 11^th.  Our big prayer will be for the Molascon’s as they leave on their big mission trip to Chain of Love in Brazil on July 12^th.

My goal is to be able to get the 40 quilts for the workers at Valiant Living by the end of the year.  We don’t quilt in Dec. so we have some work to do.

June 14 2023 1153.Tim. 1154-1166.Chain of Love.

 Good morning dear friends.  The sun is shining and we are ready to live this day for the best.  God is good.

Last night we did a quilt 

1153.for Tim who is dealing with cancer.  

1154-1166.We bagged and prayed for 12 quilts that Holly is taking to Chain of Love in July.  These quilts will be given to the house parents of the children.  Remember Holly and her family as they make this journey.  It is such a great mission…..making homes for many homeless children in Brazil.

“They really liked them! It's chilly here and there's no heat in the buildings so several of the ladies were using them during our time together!”

“I gave the quilt to the boy our family sponsors, John, and he loved it! He said he will use it tonight!”  -Holly 

Last Thursday afternoon, June 8^th, was a great afternoon as eight of us went to Valiant Living to help distribute 80 quilts to their clients.  God blesses our group in so many ways……it gives us new eyes into the lives of people with disabilities.   They are so special.  Each person is different so it was so fun to watch them and their leaders pick out what they liked.

Remember each one of you is special and what ever part you have in this ministry is important.  We are all different and have different gifts.

Our next work night is June 27^th.  Thank you Karen for the treats.

We had a great night last night.  

We  bagged up another 20 quilts for Valiant Living (1126-1146) so that brings us up to 80. 

We only have 41 more to go!

We did quilts and prayed for 

1147.Ambrose the 2 year old foster boy that Steph and Trevor have been caring for….pray that they find a good home for him during the summer…

1148.Barb who was severely burned, who lost one foot and part of the other…..

1149. Ella as she goes back to Michigan.  Ella it was great having you join in on the prayer group.
