Brittany V

Brittany Vollmer lost her family in a tragic car accident in February.  Her Father, Mother, Brother and Sister all died in the accident.
We pray for peace and comfort for her to face each day, that she can rely on Christ for her strength.  That people will come along side her and help her and love on her.

A college sophomore from South Dakota lost her entire family — two parents and two siblings — to a deadly car crash on Saturday.
Brittany Vollmer, a student at Northwestern College in Orange City, Iowa, was away at school when news of the accident broke. Her 52-year-old dad, James, was driving the family’s 2005 Ford Explorer on Interstate 90, west of their home in Sioux Falls, S.D. His wife, Julie, 48, was sitting next to him in the front passenger seat, while two of their children, Alyssa, 16, and Caleb, 13, were buckled into the back of the SUV.
Around 5:15 p.m. on Saturday, the car swerved off the highway and struck a guardrail, the Argus Leader reports. It rolled down an embankment, then crossed over a dry creek bed, jumping from one side of the embankment and landing on the other. The force of the crash caused the vehicle to split in half.
