October 2018: 506. Haak family 507. Erica 508. Bauslaugh Family

 October 10 2018
Good morning ladies.  It really is another drippy day but God has given us this day so we need to use it wisely.
We had a good night last night.  Our prayers went out for:

 506.    Jim & Korissa Haak, who lost their precious 2 yr. old boy in a farm accident

 507.  Erica who has been sober for 7 months…praise God and pray that she has a new outlook on life

508.   Pastor Tim Bauslaugh's family from Spearfish…Pastor Tim passing on to a better land but leaving his dear wife and 3 young children

"Our hearts are grieving with the family of Pastor Tim Bauslaugh of Mountain View Baptist Church in Spearfish, South Dakota, who unexpectedly went to be with our Lord and Savior on Sunday, October 7, while at Sandford Medical Center in Sioux Falls. Tim was 36 years old.

Tim grew up in a church plant in the state of Washington as the son of NAB pastor Gordon and Sandra Bauslaugh, which played a role in laying the groundwork for his own calling into full-time ministry. Tim and Kristin were married for nine years and have three small children. They served Mountain View for the past three years.

Tim was an avid musician and found much solace in music. In the bio on his website, he summarized not just his heart, but how he lived his life: “As a child of God I am constantly challenged with the desire to grow in the Fruit of the Spirit. I owe all that I am to my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. My heart’s desire is to respond to His grace with faithfulness, and when I fall short to fall back on His grace.”
Kristin shared that “the process of Tim crossing from life on earth to God’s presence is evidence of God’s GOODNESS and MERCY. Surely His goodness and mercy will follow us all of our days.” She has found new meaning and peace from Tim’s favorite passage: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship. Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will” (Romans 12:1–2 NIV).

Please join us in praying for the Bauslaugh family as they grieve and walk this new path."

…..praise for Holly’s Mom getting a good report…..
"I'm thanking and praising God for my mom's bone marrow biopsy results 60 days post-transplant.... No myeloma cells detectable! Hallelujah! Who cares if you can't stick your tongue out straight anymore, BarbaraHeringer?"

pray for Amanda Rowland.  Pray that she may be encouraged and know that God and all of us love her.

Remember to make your pies and be at our open house quilting party on Oct. 21st.  Anyone who has a quilted table runner please bring them.  Amy had a good idea after some of you left.  Why don’t we order pizza for our lunch and eat at church with our families.  What do you think?  Then we will be right there to set up.
Be a RAY of SUNSHINE to someone today.
Love, Joyce
